overview learn how to manage event check ins through both the dashboard and mobile app, plus process on site transactions using the point of sale (pos) system check in process there are two ways to check in people at your event using your event dashboard via www sweatpals com using the qr code scanner or searching users by name via the sweatpals app event dashboard check in if you choose to use the web dashboard for check in click into the event you're checking people in for type in the person's name in the search bar click their name and open up their order details, then click "check in" if they purchased tickets for more than one person, continue to scroll down their order details and check in all their guests, making sure proper information (name, email, phone) is there for each of the attendees you can edit information for other attendees by clicking the little pencil next to their names this will send them an email to "claim" their ticket and fill our waiver and questionnaire if needed โ ๏ธ having trouble finding someone's registration? try searching for them under another name variation or checking case sensitivity app check in to check in users on the app be sure to have sweatpals downloaded log in using your phone number toggle into your chapter account select your specific event select the check in button ๐ pro tip users may come to your event with their qr codes ready in the sweatpals app, saved in their apple/google wallet, or accessible through their email confirmation if you have a large number of attendees, it might be worth having a check in line for people with qr codes ready, and another for people who need help locating their ticket and if they're having trouble finding their ticketโฆ they can also locate it at https //attendee sweatpals com ๐ want to see how check in is going? there are three tabs to refer to as you're checking people in "all," "checked in," and "not checked in " point of sale (pos) or tap to pay if you wish to sell tickets on site or merchandise on site, you can use tap to pay in the app this is how to activate point of sale how to use point of sale click into a specific event select the "pos" icon you'll immediately see current ticket options that are still available to sell if you wish to add more line items or merchandise, hit the + button in the right hand corner and fill out the ticket name and cost once you've added the item into the system or selected a current item for sale, the user will fill out their information needed for purchase, go to checkout and "tap to pay," completing the sale ๐ธ please note in person tap to pay has a flat 3% processing fee
